1.出入院病人统计
在院人数、出院人数、入院人数等指标是医院动态管理的必统指标，这些指标在“医院上报数据统计”、“等级评审”中都有考察。同时，它们也反映了医院、各科室实际工作的量化指标。下面demo表格式正是是医院最常见的统计表之一。

2.瀑布图
瀑布图是由麦肯锡顾问公司首先独创的图表类型，因为形似瀑布流水而被称之为瀑布图( Waterfall Plot)。其本质是柱形图，每条柱子分别是初始值、下一步的累计值、中间值、…、期末值，但是柱子坐标是显示累计值，如果下一步是增加（正值）则累计向上，下一步是减少（负值）则累计值向下。瀑布图可以显示过程中正值和负值对总量的贡献，显示结果累积的过程。绘图中，增加或减少使用不同颜色区分。
3.瀑布图分析出入院
如上图所示，瀑布图可以展示当天、月或一段时间的入、出院患者人数，及期初、期末时间点的患者在院人数，或其他因素导致的人员减少情况，如死亡、转科情况。
入出院人数，反应科室的流量和产出，在院人数反映当前科室工作负荷。三个指标为医院、科室合理规划床位资源、医护人员配备、设备投入等提供依据。与此同时，期末与期初在院人数的比也能间接反应医疗质量：
（1）期末在院人数比期初在院人数低，表明出院多、入院少，是否存在门诊转住院不畅？住院资源浪费？
（2）期末在院人数比期初在院人数多，出院少、入院多，是患者病情复杂？平均住院日延长？医疗质量存在问题？
（3）期初和期末在院患者数差不多，对日常管理相对说也相对稳定。
上图片，也提供了科室选项，可以进行科室之间的比较，尤其是同一科室存在多个病区、医疗组。不同科室、病区或医疗组的比较，为医院管理或科室运营管理提供数据支撑。尤其是同一科室，不同病区和医疗组的比较，可以识别优势分组，发现不同病区和医疗组在业务结构、运营效率上的差距与优势，可以制定针对性改进措施。
