在企业经营管理尤其是销售端，销售跟踪表格是常规工作。销售管理通常有年度/月度的销售目标、有实际情况完成情况，进而统计同环比情况，也会计算目标达成情况。这样就形成了一个销售跟踪表格。
在医院预算管理中，也有类似的表格，形如（模拟）：

表格真实反映各科科室关于预算目标的完成情况，如何一眼看出上述表格反馈的真实情况，可视化是更好的方式。下图是一个关于医院科室收入预算管理的示意图。通过可视化的方式，可以一眼找出哪些科室完成预算执行的好、哪些需要持续加强。
